Mississippi’s best-known trainer and health enthusiast, Paul Lacoste, has powered into Greenville to transform people and communities through his organization’s Next Level Mississippi program.

This 12-week “bootcamp” program runs f rom May 28 – August 16, 2019, and consists of one-hour training sessions that take place four times a week, each week, at the Hodding Carter Memorial YMCA and will culminate with a FREE 5K open to the public.

Presented in partnership with Families First for Mississippi and Mississippi Department of Human Services, the Next Level Mississippi program is available at no cost and participants are expected to meet certain requirements along the way (positive attendance and attitude, pre and post-medical assessments, and pre-and post fitness tests).

“I’ve been wanting to come to the Delta for years,” says Lacoste. “Thanks to supportive assistance from Mississippi Department of Human Services and Families First for Mississippi, we are truly changing the lives of Mississippians.”

Paul Lacoste Sports intends to continue combating obesity in Mississippi by bringing the Next Level Mississippi program to new communities around the state each year. Currently, the program is training a total of 400 participants in Greenville and Brookhaven.
